Study of the Atomization Performance of Swirl Nozzle for Snow-making Machine
The flow rate, spray cone angle, and droplet diameter of swirl nozzles are key parameters in the snow-making process of an outdoor snow-maker. Aimed at the swirl nozzle of a domestic outdoor snow-maker, a mathematical model was established based on the ...

Cooling Rate Modeling and Evaluation during Centrifugal Atomization Process
Centrifugal atomization is a rapid solidification technique involving fast cooling rates to produce high-quality powders. The final microstructure of the atomized particles is closely linked with the thermal history and cooling rates experienced during ...

Rate of an Atomic Clock in Motion [PDF]
ACCORDING to the theory of the relation between matter and the luminiferous ether, as developed by Larmor and Lorentz, a moving clock should assume the rate where v0 is the stationary rate, V the measured velocity of the clock with respect to the observer, and c the velocity of light.

Experimental Study of Spray Performance of Swirl Nozzle in Outdoor Snow-makers
A swirl nozzle is a vital component in an outdoor snow-maker, directly affecting the rate and amount of snow production. An atomization experimental facility was designed and established to test swirl nozzles in outdoor snow-makers.

Fluorescent probes allow dynamic visualization of phosphoinositides in living cells (left), whereas mass spectrometry provides high‐sensitivity, isomer‐resolved quantitation (right). Their synergistic use captures complementary aspects of lipid signaling. This review illustrates how these approaches reveal the spatiotemporal regulation and quantitative

The Ile181Asn variant of human UDP‐xylose synthase (hUXS1), associated with a short‐stature genetic syndrome, has previously been reported as inactive. Our findings demonstrate that Ile181Asn‐hUXS1 retains catalytic activity similar to the wild‐type but exhibits reduced stability, a looser oligomeric state, and an increased tendency to precipitate ...

Tau acetylation at K331 has limited impact on tau pathology in vivo
We mapped tau post‐translational modifications in humanized MAPT knock‐in mice and in amyloid‐bearing double knock‐in mice. Acetylation within the repeat domain, particularly around K331, showed modest increases under amyloid pathology. To test functional relevance, we generated MAPTK331Q knock‐in mice.
