Atopic keratoconjunctivitis (AKC) is defined as a chronic keratoconjunctivitis associated with atopic dermatitis, but severe progressive keratoconjunctivitis as a sole manifestation of atopy also may occur. The authors report three patients with a longstanding history of chronic conjunctivitis with bilateral pannus formation.
