Multifocal Atrial Tachycardia (Chaotic Atrial Tachycardia) [PDF]

open access: yesCirculation, 1970
Multifocal atrial tachycardia, also designated "chaotic atrial tachycardia," was identified in the records of 31 patients. It was particularly noted that the arrhythmia progressed to atrial fibrillation or flutter in 17 cases (55%). Unifocal or multifocal premature atrial contractions preceded the arrhythmia in 20 cases (64%).

Rapid wide QRS tachycardia with an unknown cause

open access: yesAnnals of Noninvasive Electrocardiology, 2022
One‐to‐one atrioventricular conduction during atrial flutter is one of the most severe life‐threatening arrhythmias and is hemodynamically perilous. Rapid wide QRS tachycardia often not only occurs in patients with ventricular tachycardia but is also ...

A case of an atrial tachycardia originating from an occluded coronary sinus ostium with a persistent left superior vena cava

open access: yesIndian Pacing and Electrophysiology Journal, 2017
We present a case of a 37-year-old female who complained of frequent palpitations caused by an atrial tachycardia and atrial premature contractions. Angiography revealed that the coronary sinus was occluded at the ostium and connected to a persistent ...

Electrocardiographic patch devices and contemporary wireless cardiac monitoring. [PDF]

open access: yes, 2015
Cardiac electrophysiologic derangements often coexist with disorders of the circulatory system. Capturing and diagnosing arrhythmias and conduction system disease may lead to a change in diagnosis, clinical management and patient outcomes.
