, 1939 Atta sexdens robusta, n. subsp. (Fig. 15) Operar o (máximo). - Comprimento total 15-16 mm; largura da cabeça 6 mm, do gaster 4-4.5 mm. A coloração é parda (chocolate), mas varia e é ás vezes bastante ennegrecida. Ha tres pequenos ocellos; o ocello anterior é muito pequeno. Lobos occipitaes ligeiramente brilhantes.
