Neural network-based distributed denial of service (DDoS) attack detection in smart home networks
Due to various limitations, such as limited power supply, the lack of storage capability and processing power, Internet of Things-based smart home networks have become vulnerable to various cyber-security attacks including Distributed Denial of ...

Towards Examining Supervised and Unsupervised Learning for IoT Attack Detection
The Internet of Things (IoT) is the term used to describe the numerous physical objects/devices connected to the Internet and collecting and exchanging data globally. IoT devices are especially susceptible to network attacks, including but not limited to

Solid Pseudopapillary Neoplasm of the Pancreas in Children and Adolescents: Expert Recommendations
ABSTRACT Solid pseudopapillary neoplasm of the pancreas (SPN) is a rare low‐grade malignant exocrine pancreatic tumor, mostly discovered during the second decade of life in females, with a very good prognosis, provided microscopically complete surgical excision is achieved.

Acute Neurological Events in Children With Hemoglobin SC Disease: A Multicenter Retrospective Study
ABSTRACT Introduction Neurological manifestations in children with hemoglobin SC (HbSC) disease remain insufficiently characterized, particularly regarding acute events. The aim of this study was to describe the spectrum and frequency of acute neurological events in a multicenter cohort of children with HbSC disease.

Degradation mechanism of the von Willebrand factor A2 domain by nattokinase
Nattokinase, a natto‐derived protease, exhibits potent antithrombotic effects. This study demonstrates that nattokinase directly cleaves the von Willebrand factor (vWF) A2 domain in vitro. Unlike the native regulator ADAMTS13, nattokinase degrades folded vWF independently of shear stress.

Low Latency Detection of Sparse False Data Injections in Smart Grids
We study low-latency detections of sparse false data injection attacks in power grids, where an adversary can maliciously manipulate power grid operations by modifying measurements at a small number of smart meters. When a power grid is under attack, the

We present robust protocols for the preparation of supported lipid bilayers (SLBs) incorporating either Salmonella smooth LPS or outer membrane vesicles (OMVs). We use a combination of quartz crystal microbalance with dissipation (QCM‐D) and fluorescence microscopy to both characterize the SLBs of various compositions and to probe their interactions ...
