Inspired by the critical role of capping agents in nanomaterials synthesis and bulk crystal growth, the role of capping agents in manipulating the electrochemical behaviors of AZIBs is untangled. The multifunctional role of the capping agents in terms of the Zn anode, electrolyte, and cathode validates stable and practical AZIBs. Abstract Long‐standing

State‐of‐the‐Art, Insights, and Perspectives for MOFs‐Nanocomposites and MOF‐Derived (Nano)Materials
Different approaches to MOF‐NP composite formation, such as ship‐in‐a‐bottle, bottle‐around‐the‐ship and in situ one‐step synthesis, are used. Owing to synergistic effects, the advantageous features of the components of the composites are beneficially combined, and their individual drawbacks are mitigated.

Attenuation Coefficient Measurement in the Thyroid
Journal of Ultrasound in Medicine, 2003To assess the feasibility of a novel method of measuring the attenuation coefficient in the thyroid, which offers less variability of results than the conventional method. In our new method, the attenuation coefficient was evaluated on the basis of the following equation with sound field correction: alpha = -1/4[Fc(z)-epsilon(z)] x d/dz[log(M0(z))-tau(z)

Mass-attenuation coefficients of beta particles
International Journal of Radiation Applications and Instrumentation. Part A. Applied Radiation and Isotopes, 1990Abstract A method to obtain mass-attenuation coefficients of β particles is described. This method is based upon the simulation of β emission by means of the β energy spectrum. The range of the β particle is chosen as random incidence by means of range distribution of monoenergetic electrons which have the same energy as the β particle.

Relative Spectral Attenuation Coefficients of Water
Applied Optics, 1967The relative variation of attenuation coefficient with wavelength has been studied in the laboratory for distilled water and seawater. The study was for the purpose of locating any very fine structure in the attenuation vs wavelength curve. The spectral region from 3750 A to 6850 A was examined with 0.2 A resolution; water paths were 9.7 m and 19.5 m ...

Investigation of photon attenuation coefficients for marble
Journal of Radiological Protection, 2005The total linear attenuation coefficients micro (cm(-1)) have been obtained using the XCOM program at photon energies of 1 keV to 1 GeV for six different natural marbles produced in different places in Turkey. The individual contribution of photon interaction processes to the total linear attenuation coefficients for marble has been investigated.

Attenuation Coefficient Estimation of Normal Placentas
Ultrasound in Medicine & Biology, 2019Attenuation coefficient estimation has the potential to be a useful tool for placental tissue characterization. A current challenge is the presence of inhomogeneities in biological tissue that result in a large variance in the attenuation coefficient estimate (ACE), restricting its clinical utility. In this work, we propose a new Attenuation Estimation

Estimation of the Slope of the Acoustic Attenuation Coefficient
Ultrasonic Imaging, 1984In this paper, a theoretical framework is developed which removes the Gaussian assumption commonly used in ultrasonic attenuation estimation based on mean frequency shift. The theory is developed for general non-Gaussian spectra and for media whose attenuation coefficient is nonlinear with frequency.
