Hinst: Human‐Like Interactive Instinct Enables Robots to Robustly Accomplish Universal Tasks

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
Aiming at current robot limitations of poor flexibility, poor practicality, and poor universality in task accomplishment, the authors report a human‐like interactive instinct (Hinst) and an anthropomorphic robotic system architecture. The Hinst greatly enhances the efficiency and the success rate of robotic manipulation, skill learning, and task ...

Synaptic Dysfunction in the Anterior Cingulate Cortex Underlies Pain‐Anxiety Comorbidity in a Mandibular Asymmetry Mouse Model

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
This study establishes a mandibular asymmetry (MA) mouse model that recapitulates chronic orofacial pain and anxiety comorbidity. Anterior cingulate cortex (ACC) hyperactivation and synaptic dysfunction are identified as central neural mechanisms underlying these pathologies, with chemogenetic inhibition of ACC CaMKII+ neurons effectively reversing ...

Bio‐Inspired Stored Magnetic Energy Actuator with Transient Triggering and Programmable Logic

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
A bio‐inspired magnetic energy actuator achieves 1.6 m/s transient release—three orders faster than conventional systems—via direct ink writing printed NdFeB/Polydimethylsiloxane composites and environmental locks; biomimetic AND‐gate logic enables sequential cue recognition (e.g., “temperature → rainfall”).
