Geometric Tracking Control of the Attitude Dynamics of a Rigid Body on SO(3) [PDF]
This paper provides new results for a tracking control of the attitude dynamics of a rigid body. Both of the attitude dynamics and the proposed control system are globally expressed on the special orthogonal group, to avoid complexities and ambiguities associated with other attitude representations such as Euler angles or quaternions.

CSF Tau Is a Biomarker of Hippocampal Injury in Cryptogenic New‐Onset Refractory Status Epilepticus
ABSTRACT Objective Cryptogenic new‐onset refractory status epilepticus (cNORSE) is a devastating condition characterized by the de novo onset of status epilepticus with unclear etiology. The identification of relevant early biomarkers in cNORSE is important to elucidate pathophysiology, aid clinical decision‐making, and prognosticate outcomes in cNORSE.

Semi-Analytic Method for SINS Attitude and Parameters Online Estimation [PDF]
In this note, the attitude and inertial sensors drift biases estimation for Strapdown inertial navigation system is investigated. A semi-analytic method is proposed, which contains two interlaced solution procedures. Specifically, the attitude encoding the body frame changes and gyroscopes drift biases are estimated through attitude estimation while ...

Implications of Effort Put into Forming an Attitude for Resistance to Attitude Change [PDF]
Many researchers have studied elaboration, which is the extent to which people effortfully think about attitude-relevant information. Despite being effortful, many effects of elaboration, such as resistance of change, have largely been attributed to ...

Objective The increasing burden associated with low back pain (LBP) is a critical issue. This is a novel analysis of trends in risk factors for LBP aiming to identify risk factors that require further attention or consideration in global policies to reduce the burden of LBP.

Optimal Attitude Estimation and Filtering Without Using Local Coordinates Part I: Uncontrolled and Deterministic Attitude Dynamics [PDF]
There are several attitude estimation algorithms in existence, all of which use local coordinate representations for the group of rigid body orientations. All local coordinate representations of the group of orientations have associated problems.

Psychological evidence suggests that people’s learning behavior is often prone to a “myside bias” or “irrational belief persistence” in contrast to learning behavior exclusively based on objective data. In the context of Bayesian learning such a bias may
