Development of attitude and heading reference systems

2015 International Automatic Control Conference (CACS), 2015
The development of an attitude and heading reference system (AHRS) using sensor fusion is presented in this paper. The system consists of a nine degree of freedom inertial measurement unit (IMU) and a digital signal processor (DSP) module. The IMU comprises with triaxial gyroscopes, triaxial accelerometers, and triaxial magnetometers.

Attitude and heading reference system with acceleration compensation

Aircraft Engineering and Aerospace Technology, 2012
PurposeThe purpose of this paper is to employ an extended Kalman filter for implementing an AHRS (attitude and heading reference system) with acceleration compensation, thereby improving the reliability of such systems, since this removes the usual restrictive assumption that the vehicle is undergoing a non‐accelerated maneuver.Design/methodology ...

Gimballed Attitude and Heading Reference System for Marine Vehicles

2021 IEEE 3rd Ukraine Conference on Electrical and Computer Engineering (UKRCON), 2021
The paper deals with creating a gimballed attitude and heading system assigned for operation on marine vehicles. Features of the developed system are the high precision and resistance to accelerations. The kinematical scheme of the considered system is represented. The list of operating regimes is given. The mathematical models of the considered system

Gyrocompassing mode of the attitude and heading reference system

2017 IEEE 4th International Conference Actual Problems of Unmanned Aerial Vehicles Developments (APUAVD), 2017
A gyrocompassing mode of the attitude heading reference system was presented. Attitude heading reference system has been composed of inertial measurement unit and navigation computer. Inertial measurement unit consists of triad accelerometers, gyroscopes and a circuit of signal processing.
