Reproducing Kernel Hilbert Space and Coalescence Hidden-variable Fractal Interpolation Functions
Reproducing Kernel Hilbert Spaces (RKHS) and their kernel are important tools which have been found to be incredibly useful in many areas like machine learning, complex analysis, probability theory, group representation theory and the theory of integral ...

Upper, down, two-sided Lorenz attractor, collisions, merging and switching [PDF]
We present a slightly modified version of the well known "geometric Lorenz attractor". It consists in a C1 open set O of vector fields in R3 having an attracting region U containing: (1) a unique singular saddle point sigma; (2) a unique attractor Lambda containing the singular point; (3) the maximal invariant in U contains at most 2 chain recurrence ...

Non-linguistic Conditions for Causativization as a Linguistic Attractor
An attractor, in complex systems theory, is any state that is more easily or more often entered or acquired than departed or lost; attractor states therefore accumulate more members than non-attractors, other things being equal.

Quantifying the Landscape of Decision Making From Spiking Neural Networks
The decision making function is governed by the complex coupled neural circuit in the brain. The underlying energy landscape provides a global picture for the dynamics of the neural decision making system and has been described extensively in the ...

Phantom Cosmic Dynamics: Tracking Attractor and Cosmic Doomsday [PDF]
We study the dynamics of phantom model and give the conditions for potentials to admit tracking attractor, de Sitter attractor and big rip attractor. Especially, we show that phantom models with exponential and inverse power law potentials do not admit the tracking attractor solution.
