3D Bioinspired Hair‐Based Solar Evaporator for Efficient Water Harvesting

open access: yesAdvanced Functional Materials, EarlyView.
A bio‐derived solar evaporator inspired by blackbody radiation is developed using human hair waste. The vertically aligned hair structure enables broadband light absorption, efficient thermal localization, and rapid water transport, achieving high evaporation rates and stable desalination performance.

Directory attribute grammars [PDF]

open access: yes, 2002
To publish documents we must take care of documents' structure and their formal layout. If a large document is composed by a lot of parts including text, images, code and so on, they will lay in different files; so file organization should also be a ...

VisualLISA: a visual environment to develop attribute grammars [PDF]

open access: yes, 2010
The focus of this paper is on crafting a new visual language for attribute grammars (AGs), and on the development of the associated programming environment. We present a solution for rapid development of VisualLISA editor using DEViL.

Tailoring the Properties of Functional Materials With N‐Oxides

open access: yesAdvanced Functional Materials, EarlyView.
The properties of materials bearing N‐oxide groups are often dominated by the polar N+─O− bond. It provides hydrophilicity, selective ion‐binding, electric conductivity, or antifouling properties. Many of the underlying mechanisms have only recently been discovered, and the interest in N‐oxide materials is rapidly growing.

k-visit attribute grammars

open access: yesMathematical Systems Theory, 1980
<p>An attribute grammar G is k-visit if for any derivation tree t of G it is possible to evaluate all the attributes associated with t by walking through t in such a way that no node in t is visited more than k times.</p><p>We show in this paper that any well-defined attribute grammar G is k-visit for some k.

Dual‐Phased Molybdenum Carbides Confined in MOF‐Derived Carbon Nanoframes Enhance Capacitive Desalination

open access: yesAdvanced Functional Materials, EarlyView.
Dual‐phase MoC/Mo2C/CoNC nanoframes are synthesized via a MOF‐on‐MOF strategy, demonstrating a large salt adsorption capacity, a low energy consumption, and an excellent cycling stability. In situ/ex situ characterizations and DFT calculations reveal that the MoC/Mo2C dual phase transition facilitates Na+ adsorption/desorption, while interface‐induced ...

Attribute Grammars: a Declarative Functional Language [PDF]

open access: yes, 1995
Projet CHARMEAlthough Attribute Grammars were introduced thirty years ago, their lack of expressiveness has resulted in limited use outside the domain of static language processing. In this paper we show that it is possible to extend this expressiveness.

GAEA Action Equations Paradigm [PDF]

open access: yes, 1988
This technical report consists of two papers describing the GAEA action equations paradigm. Incremental Dynamic Semantics for Language-based Programming Environments explains why attribute grammars are not suitable for expressing dynamic semantics and ...
