Supporting doctors' professional identity development through specialist training
Abstract Anatomy‐centric specialties such as surgery, radiology, and anatomical pathology (AP) have workforce shortages, with attrition during the training phase proposed as a contributing factor. Current understanding of the reasons behind trainee attrition is limited, and there have been calls to increase the depth and richness of research in this ...

On the definition of an attribute grammar [PDF]
The definition of an attribute grammar is analyzed in order to simplify and clarify certain points. An easy-to-test property termed "balance" is shown to be useful in analysis. The classification of attributes into synthesized and inherited attributes is shown to be a property derivable as a logical consequence of the "balance".

Enhancing anatomical education: Developing and evaluating ultrasound training for anatomists
Abstract Ultrasound is a useful diagnostic tool that can yield significant diagnostic data, but its optimized usage necessitates operators who are trained and experienced. Integrating ultrasound into anatomy education has been demonstrated to significantly enhance medical and health science students' understanding of living anatomy by providing real ...

An Autistic “Linguatype”? Neologisms, New Words, and New Insights
ABSTRACT In this commentary, we present new ideas about autistic neologisms. This essay has two primary goals. Attribute Grammars as a specification method [PDF]
Attribute Grammars (AGs) are a formal and practical method for rule based specifications of computations on tree structures. A typical application area is the analysis and translation of formal languages. In this paper we first point out the basic concepts of computations in tree contexts and their dependencies.
