Au-Be/Au and Au-Be/Cr/Au ohmic contacts to p-type InP and InGaAsP

A comparison of vacuum-deposited Au-Be/Au and Au-Be/Cr/Au metallisations, used for the preparation of ohmic contacts to p-type InP and InGaAsP, is presented. The electrical and metallurgical properties of such contacts were studied as a function of material parameters and of deposition and alloying conditions.

Catalytic activities of subnanometer gold clusters (Au₁₆-Au₁₈, Au₂₀, and Au₂₇-Au₃₅) for CO oxidation.

Using the CO oxidation as a chemical probe, we perform a comprehensive ab initio study of catalytic activities of subnanometer gold clusters. Particular attention is placed on 12 different clusters in the size range of Au(16)-Au(35), whose atomic structures in the anionic state have been resolved from previous experiments.

Collective Expansion in Central Au + Au Collisions

Energy spectra for intermediate mass fragments produced in central Au+Au collisions at [ital E]/[ital A]=100MeV indicate a collective expansion at breakup. For the first time, values for this collective expansion energy per nucleon are extracted independently for each charge.

A theoretical study of gold fullerenes Au?????????Au?????? as strongly correlated electron systems in the framework of the Hubbard model in the approximation of static fluctuations is carried out. Fourier images of anticommutator Green's functions for electrons at different sites of gold fullerenes are obtained, energy spectra are constructed.
