Oxygen chemisorption on Au nanoparticles
Chemical Physics Letters, 2003Abstract Oxygen molecules do not adsorb on flat gold surfaces at room temperature, but recent experimental results have demonstrated adsorption of oxygen on small, negatively charged gold nanoparticles. Here we report first-principles density functional calculations of oxygen adsorption on neutral and charged Au n nanoparticles.

Dynamic transverse susceptibility in Au–Fe–Au nanoparticles
Materials Science and Engineering: A, 2001A precision radio-frequency (RF) transverse modulation technique based on a resonant tunnel diode oscillator (TDO) has been used to study the dynamic transverse susceptibility in novel single domain Fe nanoparticles synthesized using reverse-micelle chemistry. The RF data exhibits peaks at characteristic anisotropy fields.
