Magnetic Interactions in Spin-Labeled Au Nanoparticles [PDF]
© 2014 American Chemical Society. A series of gold nanoparticles functionalized with TEMPO-modified disulfide 2 have been prepared and studied by electron paramagnetic resonance (EPR) spectroscopy, UV-vis, transmission electron microscopy (TEM), energy dispersive X-ray analysis (EDX), and thermogravimetric analysis (TGA).

Enantioselective Separation on Chiral Au Nanoparticles
The surfaces of chemically synthesized Au nanoparticles have been modified with d- or l-cysteine to render them chiral and enantioselective for adsorption of chiral molecules. Their enantioselective interaction with chiral compounds has been probed by optical rotation measurements during exposure to enantiomerically pure and racemic propylene oxide ...

Electrochemical properties of Au Nanoparticles
TiO2 NPs powder (titanium oxide nanoparticles powder) is synthesized via anodization in 0.7 M HClO4 is annealed in N2 at 450°C for 3 hrs to obtain the TiO2 NPs -N2 powder as catalyst support to which Au is loaded via photodeposition technique using tetrachloroauric acid (HAuCl4) and isopropanol as a sacrificial donor.

Aptamers are used both therapeutically and as targeting agents in cancer treatment. We developed an aptamer‐targeted PLGA–TRAIL nanosystem that exhibited superior therapeutic efficacy in NOD/SCID breast cancer models. This nanosystem represents a novel biotechnological drug candidate for suppressing resistance development in breast cancer.

DNA-Templated Preparation of Gold Nanoparticles
DNA-mediated gold nanoparticles were prepared by chemical reduction of DNA-Au(III) complex. The DNA-Au(III) was first formed by reacting DNA with HAuCl4 at a pH of 5.6. The complex in solution was reacted with hydrazine reducing Au(III) to Au.
