Verifier-tuple for audio-forensic to determine speaker environment
Proceedings of the 7th workshop on Multimedia and security, 2005In this paper a new concept for audio classification and analysis is presented to determine the authenticity of the speaker's environment. The overall concept's characteristic is determined through an introduced Verifier-Tuple, which enables a detailed analysis of every kind of media. The purpose, the practise as well as the need of this Verifier-Tuple

Additive noise detection and its application to audio forensics
Signal and Information Processing Association Annual Summit and Conference (APSIPA), 2014 Asia-Pacific, 2014Digital audio recordings can be manipulated by pervasive audio editing software easily. Often forgery would not be naive splicing. Post-processing would be a part of tampering. Post-processing can eliminate the obvious traces of forgery. Noise can cover audible evidence of forgery and destroy traces of other tampering operations.
