Enhancing Ga─Sb Bonds by GaSb Co‐Doping Ge2Sb2Te5 for High Speed and Thermal Stability Phase Change Memory

open access: yesAdvanced Electronic Materials, EarlyView.
This study reveals that GaSb co‐doping in Ge₂Sb₂Te₅ significantly mitigates unwanted Ga─Ge bonds, achieving an impressive 8 ns phase change speed and enhanced thermal stability up to 196 °C. First‐principles simulations and experimental characterizations demonstrate stable multilevel resistance, paving the way for advanced phase change memory in ...

Survival, safety and belonging: An ethnographic study of experiences and perceptions of people who inject drugs accessing a supervised injecting Centre

open access: yesAustralian Journal of Social Issues, Volume 57, Issue 4, Page 829-846, December 2022., 2022
Abstract Introduction The inclusion of people who use drugs in the design and evaluation of their health services remains a relatively new phenomenon. The aim of the research was to explore the experiences and perceptions of people accessing the Medical Supervised Injecting Centre (MSIC), and Clinic 180, Sydney Australia, and the factors facilitating ...

Impact of Transition Metals and Electrocatalyst Layer Thickness on the Pt‐Based Cathodes of Proton Exchange Membrane Fuel Cells – Do Multimetallic Electrocatalysts Necessarily Yield an Improved Performance?

open access: yesAdvanced Energy Materials, EarlyView.
Nonnoble transition‐metals (TMs) in PtCuNi/C catalysts have a dual influence in proton‐exchange membrane fuel cell cathode catalyst layer. While TMs act as a “sacrificial component” of PtCuNi/C, inhibiting Pt dissolution from the PtMx nanoparticles bearing the active sites, they promote the formation of separate catalysts and ionomer domains in the ...

Boosting the Efficiency and Mechanical Stability of Organic Solar Cells Through a Polymer Acceptor by Reducing the Elastic Modulus

open access: yesAdvanced Energy Materials, EarlyView.
Herein, PYSe2F‐T is first applied to simultaneously improve the performance and mechanical stability of organic solar cells compared with mPh4F‐TS as the counterpart. Meanwhile, a detailed crack density analysis is first employed to evaluate the relationship between mechanical stability and elastic modulus of active layers, which can be reduced by the ...

Quantifying the Impact of Cathode Composite Mixing Quality on Active Mass Utilization and Reproducibility of Solid‐State Battery Cells

open access: yesAdvanced Energy Materials, EarlyView.
The origin of variations in solid‐state battery cell performance is explored and traced back mainly to the cathode composite mixing – leading to different fractions of electrochemically active mass. Machine‐mixed composites and the quantification of the electrochemically active mass enhance reproducibility and comparability.

Harnessing Solar Energy for Ammonia Synthesis from Nitrogen and Seawater Using Oxynitride Semiconductors

open access: yesAdvanced Energy Materials, EarlyView.
In this work, the challenging green ammonia evolution is addressed by developing a photothermal system that utilizes nitrogen and natural seawater under simulated solar irradiation, employing ruthenium‐doped barium tantalum oxynitride semiconductors.
