Auricular Capillary Hemangioma: A Rare Case Report

ABSTRACT Auricular capillary hemangioma in an adult patient is a rare entity that should be considered in the differential diagnosis of vascular lesions of the external ear. Complete surgical excision has a low recurrence rate with excellent cosmetic outcomes.

In the Caudal Pontine Reticular Nucleus, Kv1.1 Expression Is Soma Size Dependent and Invariant During Postnatal Development

The caudal pontine reticular nucleus (PnC) holds neurons of different functions and sizes. Our analysis shows that soma size and shape cannot distinguish between PnC subpopulations. Kv1.1 expression is scaled with the soma size. These findings are observed in three different mammals of different brain sizes, indicating a generalization.
