Vocal Fold Atrophy in Patients With Alzheimer's Disease and Related Dementias
The Laryngoscope, EarlyView.This is the first study to quantify vocal fold atrophy in patients with Alzheimer's disease and related dementias (AD/ADRD) using endoscopic imaging. Compared with age‐matched controls, AD/ADRD patients showed significantly greater vocal fold bowing and reduced mucosal wave amplitude, while normalized glottal gap area did not differ.

Pitch Strength & Percent Vocal Creak to Assess Treatment Response in Adductor Laryngeal Dystonia
The Laryngoscope, EarlyView.Pitch Strength (PS) and Percent Vocal Creak (%VC) were measured before and after botulinum neurotoxin treatment in patients with adductor laryngeal dystonia (AdLD). While PS and %VC correlated with changes in disruption frequency and perceptual severity, they did not demonstrate robust group‐level treatment sensitivity.
