Auditory Event-Related Potentials and Reaction Times in Migraine Children
Cognitive processing was investigated interictally in 18 children with migraine without aura and 18 age-matched controls by measuring event-related potentials (ERPs) and reaction times (RTs) during an acoustic oddball paradigm. Results showed that N100 amplitude evoked by frequent stimuli was significantly smaller in patients compared with controls ...

ABSTRACT Extracellular vesicles (EVs) are nanoscale mediators of intercellular communication with diverse molecular cargoes that reflect their cell of origin. Advances in isolation, detection, and single‐particle analytics have revealed increasing molecular and functional heterogeneity, while exposing limitations in how EV identity and activity are ...

Development of multisensory spatial integration and perception in humans [PDF]
Previous studies have shown that adults respond faster and more reliably to bimodal compared to unimodal localization cues. The current study investigated for the first time the development of audiovisual (A‐V) integration in spatial localization ...

Randomized trial of polychromatic blue-enriched light for circadian phase shifting, melatonin suppression, and alerting responses. [PDF]
Wavelength comparisons have indicated that circadian phase-shifting and enhancement of subjective and EEG-correlates of alertness have a higher sensitivity to short wavelength visible light.

Using a novel zebrafish‐based inflammatory screening strategy, we screened and identified 18β‐glycyrrhetinic acid (18β‐GA) as a promising anti‐inflammatory candidate. We uncover a microglial mTOR–autophagy–NLRP3 axis that constitutes the mechanistic core of 18β‐GA–mediated neuroprotection.
