A Controller Augmentation Method to Improve Transition Fault Coverage for RTL Data-Paths
2019 IEEE 25th International Symposium on On-Line Testing and Robust System Design (IOLTS), 2019With the growing clock frequencies and complexity for VLSIs, transition fault testing is required. However, the number of untestable transition faults is generally much more than that of untestable stuck-at faults due to the circuit structures and functions of VLSIs.

Robot programming using augmented reality: An interactive method for planning collision-free paths
Robotics and Computer-Integrated Manufacturing, 2009Current robot programming approaches lack the intuitiveness required for quick and simple applications. As new robotic applications are being identified, there is a greater need to be able to programme robots safely and quickly. This paper discusses the use of an augmented reality (AR) environment for facilitating intuitive robot programming, and ...

In this paper, a Newton-conjugate gradient (CG) augmented Lagrangian method is proposed for solving the path constrained dynamic process optimization problems. The path constraints are simplified as a single final time constraint by using a novel constraint aggregation function.

In recent years, various high-level test synthesis methods for data paths have been proposed for the improvement in design productivity and test cost reduction. Most of the approaches assume that controllers and data paths are isolated from each other, and hence the hardware overhead becomes large.

The augmented predecessor indexing method provides an efficient way to update the basis and cost evaluators in adjacent extreme point solution methods for transportation problems. The method extends the predecessor indexing method, which was designed to exploit an ancestry relation in the basis tree, by showing how to exploit a more elaborate “family ...

Blimp-type unmanned aerial vehicles (BUAVs) do not consume any energy in keeping their longitudinal position in the air, so they are anticipated as a platform that works near the ground but does not touch the ground (for example, for mine search missions).
