In this paper we have rstly dened a metric based on the Hausdor metric in intuitionistic fuzzy environment and studied its properties. Then we have proved that the metric space of intuitionistic fuzzy number valued functions is complete under this metric.

Continuity theorem for non-linear integral functionals and Aumann-Perles' variational problem
The paper deals with the problem min\(\int_{T}f(t,u(t))d\mu (t)\) subject to the constraint \(\int_{T}g(t,u(t))d\mu (t)\leq c\). The existence of a solution \(u\in L^ 1(T,\mu)\) is proved by using the standard direct method of the calculus of variations, consisting in proving the weak \(L^ 1(T)\) lower semicontinuity of the functional \(\int_{T}f(t,u(t)

Abstract The sterile insect technique (SIT) plays an important role in environmentally sustainable pest management. Its effectiveness hinges on specialized genetic tools called genetic sexing strains (GSSs), which enable the production and release of sterile male insects while excluding females.

Eastern United States: Potential Range for Ecologically Based Coastal Defenses in 2100
These maps show where black mangroves can potentially thrive along the US east coast by the end of the 21st century under several climate scenarios. Similar work was done for oyster reefs and saltmarshes. ABSTRACT Eco‐defenses (mangroves, oyster reefs, and saltmarshes) are ecosystems that can help to mitigate the effects of natural hazards and erosion ...

Order Relations, Convexities, and Jensen's Integral Inequalities in Interval and Fuzzy Spaces
This study presents new interval and fuzzy versions of the Jensen's integral inequality, which extend the classical Jensen's integral inequality for real-valued functions, using Aumann and Kaleva integrals.

Fatou's Lemmas for the set of integrable selections
In this paper, we prove Fatou-type results for the set of Bochner integrable selections from a set-valued function. Also we obtain some new dominated convergence theorems for the Aumann integral.

Modelling fraud detection by attack trees and Choquet integral [PDF]
Modelling an attack tree is basically a matter of associating a logical ÒndÓand a logical ÒrÓ but in most of real world applications related to fraud management the Ònd/orÓlogic is not adequate to effectively represent the relationship between a parent ...

Path-Regularity and Martingale Properties of Set-Valued Stochastic Integrals
In this paper we study the path-regularity and martingale properties of the set-valued stochastic integrals defined in our previous work Ararat et al. (2023).
