This study examines the tensile behavior of Hadfield steel under varying strain rates, quantifying the roles of dislocations, mechanical twinning, and dynamic strain aging (DSA) in flow stress. Rising strain rates increase dislocation density, twin volume fraction, and dimple features on fracture surfaces, enhancing both strength and ductility.
