Apodization and the point-spread autocorrelation function [PDF]
A novel function, the point-spread autocorrelation function (PSAF), which is closely related to the point-spread function, of a high numerical aperture microscope objective is introduced. The function is both experimentally measured and theoretically modeled for various apodization conditions.

Characterization of the Partial Autocorrelation Function
The conditions $|\phi_k| \leqq 1$ for all $k = 1,2, \cdots$ and $|\phi_k| = 1$ implies $\phi_{k+1} = \phi_k$ are both necessary and sufficient for a sequence of real numbers $\{\phi_k; k = 1,2, \cdots\}$ to be the partial autocorrelation function for a real, discrete parameter, stationary time series.

Pickering‐Engineered Microparticles for Magnetically Guided Motion and Light‐Triggered Catalysis
Magnetically responsive wax microparticles stabilized by hematite cubes through the Pickering emulsification strategy are developed, showing controlled size, motion, and light‐activated catalytic activity. Annealing under a magnetic field enhances their mobility and steering.

Single-tone frequency estimation based on reformed covariance for half-length autocorrelation
This paper presents a new simple and accurate frequency estimator of a sinusoidal signal based on the signal autocorrelation function (ACF). Such an estimator was termed as the reformed covariance for half-length autocorrelation (RC-HLA).
