Sidelobe Level Reduction in the ACF of NLFM Signals Using the Smoothing Spline Method
The high level of sidelobes in the autocorrelation function of the nonlinear frequency modulation signal is a challenge. One of the conventional methods to reduce the sidelobe levels is to use the principle of stationary phase.

Autocorrelation function of velocity increments time series in fully developed turbulence [PDF]
In fully developed turbulence, the velocity field possesses long-range correlations, denoted by a scaling power spectrum or structure functions. Here we consider the autocorrelation function of velocity increment Δuℓ(t) at separation time ℓ.

Enhancing Triplet Excitons Lifetime Through Controlled Intermolecular Interactions
Singlet fission (SF) is investigated in pentacene embedded in a surface‐anchored metal–organic framework, enabling a molecular arrangement inaccessible in pure organic crystals. This architecture changes the singlet fission dynamics significantly and enhances the triplet lifetime by almost four orders of magnitude.

Derivation of correlation dimension from spatial autocorrelation functions.
BackgroundSpatial complexity is always associated with spatial autocorrelation. Spatial autocorrelation coefficients including Moran's index proved to be an eigenvalue of the spatial correlation matrixes. An eigenvalue represents a kind of characteristic

Nonergodisity of a time series obeying L\'evy statistics [PDF]
Time-averaged autocorrelation functions of a dichotomous random process switching between 1 and 0 and governed by wide power law sojourn time distribution are studied.

This review highlights recent advances in accelerating luminescence in nanostructures through cooperative emission, resonator coupling, and nonlocal light–matter interactions. By unifying concepts such as excitonic superradiance, superfluorescence, and the plasmonic Purcell effect, it reveals physical limits of ultrafast emission and their potential ...

Asymptotic Expansion for the Magnetoconductance Autocorrelation Function
We complement a recent calculation (P.B. Gossiaux and the present authors, Ann. Phys. (N.Y.) in press) of the autocorrelation function of the conductance versus magnetic field strength for ballistic electron transport through microstructures with the ...

Sharp Diamond Needles for Single‐Photon Emission
We study the morphological evolution of single‐crystal diamond needles oxidized at 650–700 °C. Electron microscopy and photoluminescence reveal temperature‐ and time‐dependent sharpening, length reduction, and surface modifications affecting tip properties.

The Autocorrelation Function Denoising Algorithm Based on Convolutional Neural Networks
To enhance the image reconstruction quality of the Nth-order linear (NL) linear algorithm, this study proposes a convolutional neural network (CNN)-based denoising method, named Dilated Conv-Resnet model, that processes noisy electric field temporal ...

INFORMATION PROCESSING WITH AN OPTICAL SENSOR WHEN INCOMPLETE INITIAL INFORMATION
The range of tasks, solved by the properties of classification and generalization, is quite broad. However, the quality of solving to the problem, for one reason or another, is not always the same.
