A Hardware Implemented Autocorrelation Technique for Estimating Power Spectral Density for Processing Signals from a Doppler Wind Lidar System [PDF]
A signal processing technique utilizing autocorrelation of backscattered signals was designed and implemented in a 1.5 µm all-fiber wind sensing Coherent Doppler Lidar (CDL) system to preprocess atmospheric signals.

Network Autocorrelation Modeling: Bayesian Techniques for Estimating and Testing Multiple Network Autocorrelations [PDF]
The network autocorrelation model has been the workhorse for estimating and testing the strength of theories of social influence in a network. In many network studies, different types of social influence are present simultaneously and can be modeled using various connectivity matrices.

Autocorrelation techniques for soft photogrammetry
In this thesis research is carried out on image processing, image matching searching strategies, feature type and image matching, and optimal window size in image matching. To make comparisons, the soft photogrammetry package SoftPlotter is used. Two aerial photographs from the Iowa State University campus high flight 94 are scanned into digital format.

Simple autocorrelation technique based on degree-of-polarization measurement
We demonstrate a simple optical-fiber-based autocorrelator for picosecond short pulses based on degree-of-polarization measurement while tuning the relative delay of the two orthogonal polarization states of the pulse. The pulsewidths of 20-, 40-, and 80-GHz pulse trains and 2-ps pulses generated by a mode-locked laser are measured. The

Berezinskii-Kosterlitz-Thouless phase transition from lattice sine-Gordon model
We obtain nonperturbative results on the sine-Gordon model using the lattice field technique. In particular, we employ the Fourier accelerated hybrid Monte Carlo algorithm for our studies.

Spectrum occupancy measurement: An autocorrelation based scanning technique using USRP [PDF]
This paper presents a technique for scanning and evaluating the radio spectrum use. This technique determines the average occupancy of a channel over a specific duration. The technique was implemented using Software Defined Radio units and GNU Radio software.

Analyzing Migration Phenomena with Spatial Autocorrelation Techniques
In less than one century, Italy has tested a strong intensification of immigration changing from a country originating great migration flows to a country which is the destination of migration flows. The aim of this paper is to examine foreign immigration in Italy distinguishing according to nationality of foreigners.
