Autocorrelation techniques in fetal monitoring
American Journal of Obstetrics and Gynecology, 1985Fetal monitors that feature autocorrelation have recently been introduced. This paper discusses autocorrelation and describes how it extracts periodic signals from a noisy background. An example of its performance under clinical conditions demonstrating advantages and limitations is discussed.

Testing autocorrelation and partial autocorrelation: Asymptotic methods versus resampling techniques
British Journal of Mathematical and Statistical Psychology, 2017Autocorrelation and partial autocorrelation, which provide a mathematical tool to understand repeating patterns in time series data, are often used to facilitate the identification of model orders of time series models (e.g., moving average and autoregressive models).

A novel femtosecond autocorrelation technique
Frontiers in Optics, 2003We introduce a novel autocorrelation technique with significant advantages over existing techniques without compromising in efficiency. The new technique is dispersion-free, automatic phase matched, and capable of responding over an extremely wide spectral range.

Autocorrelation techniques for measuring avian heart rates
Medical & Biological Engineering & Computing, 1977Online computer methods have been developed to derive the heart rate of a bird from its telemetered electrocardiogram (e.c.g.). A PDP-8/L minicomputer, with real time clock and simple xy-display, is used for this purpose. Autocorrelation methods have been developed to deal with signals which are obscured by the electromyogram and electrical ...

Autocorrelation techniques for multi-bit decoder PLAs
[1992] Proceedings The Twenty-Second International Symposium on Multiple-Valued Logic, 2003The area required by a PLA can be reduced using multibit rather than single-bit input decoders. In such a PLA, the input variables are partitioned into disjoint subsets, each of which is used as the input to a decoder. The output of the decoders, instead of the input signals and their complements, are used in the core of the PLA.

Analysis of techniques for autocorrelation estimates from clipped data
Optics Letters, 1994We analyze a series of techniques for obtaining estimates of the autocorrelation function that canbe applied to clipped data. The direct autocorrelation of clipped data is the simplest technique and provides results that are the same as or better than those from other methods.

Autocorrelation Demodulation Technique for Fiber Bragg Grating Sensor
IEEE Photonics Technology Letters, 2004In this letter, we describe a very accurate and simple demodulation technique for fiber Bragg grating sensors. The technique is suitable for both single and twin Bragg gratings. A twin grating is composed of two identical gratings located at different positions in the same single-mode fiber.

Multipath Mitigation Technique Based on Partial Autocorrelation Function
Wireless Personal Communications, 2006GPS positioning accuracy in indoor and urban canyons environments is greatly affected by multipaths due to distortions in its autocorrelation function. In this paper, the first sidelobe of Pseudorandom Noise (PN) code autocorrelation is studied and a new multipath mitigation technique based on PN code autocorrelation function is presented.

A simple autocorrelation method for multipath localization techniques.
The Journal of the Acoustical Society of America, 2011A simple method was developed to extract time of arrival information from overlapping direct and reflected acoustic signals using an autocorrelation algorithm in order to localize marine mammals with the direct-reflected time difference of arrival (DRTD) technique.
