Propagation velocity measurement: Autocorrelation technique applied to the electromyogram
Muscle fibre conduction velocity is an important measurement in electrophysiology, both in the research laboratory and in clinical practice. It is usually measured by placing electrodes spaced at known distances and estimating the transit time of the action potential. The problem, common to all methods, is the estimation of this time delay.

Marketing Mix Modeling Using PLS-SEM, Bootstrapping the Model Coefficients
Partial least squares structural equations modeling (PLS-SEM) uses sampling bootstrapping to calculate the significance of the model parameter estimates (e.g., path coefficients and outer loadings). However, when data are time series, as in marketing mix

Time-resolved optical gating based on dispersive propagation: a new method to characterize optical pulses [PDF]
We introduce the technique of time-resolved optical gating (TROG) based on dispersive propagation (DP), a new noninterferometric method for characterizing ultrashort optical pulses in amplitude and phase without the need for a short optical gating pulse.
