Determining the cardiovascular pulse waveform using a semiconductor laser autodyne signal
Technical Physics Letters, 2013It is shown that a semiconductor laser autodyne signal can be used to reconstruct the pulse waveform in the human radial artery. The pulse waveforms determined using the proposed autodyne system are compared to those obtained by an oscillographic technique using a pneumatic sensor at various pressures in the arm cuff.
