Airy beam induced optical routing

open access: yes, 2013
We present an all-optical routing scheme based simultaneously on optically induced photonic structures and the Airy beam family. The presented work utilizes these accelerating beams for the demonstration of an all-optical router with individually ...

Utilizing sensor fusion in markerless mobile augmented reality [PDF]

open access: yes, 2011
One of the key challenges of markerless Augmented Reality (AR) systems, where no a priori information of the environment is available, is map and scale initialization.

Wavefront-sensing-based autofocusing in microscopy [PDF]

open access: yesJournal of Biomedical Optics, 2017
Massive image acquisition is required along the optical axis in the classical image-analysis-based autofocus method, which significantly decreases autofocus efficiency. A wavefront-sensing-based autofocus technique is proposed to increase the speed of autofocusing and obtain high localization accuracy.

Endocytic Control of Cell‐Autonomous and Non‐Cell‐Autonomous Functions of p53

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
NUMB Ex3‐containing isoforms localize to the plasma membrane, where they recruit p53 through SNX9 and direct it to multivesicular bodies and exosomes. Exported p53 is taken up by neighboring cells and activates nuclear programs, revealing an intercellular, exosome‐based pathway that might help establish a tumor‐suppressive microenvironment.

Abnormally autofocusing vortex Swallowtail Gaussian vector beam with low spatial coherence

open access: yesNew Journal of Physics, 2023
The precondition for the application of light beams is the ability to devise light distribution with high precision. Controlling more dimensions for structured light fields is an effective method to improve the ability to devise light distribution.

Symmetric Olver beams

open access: yesResults in Physics, 2023
This paper presents an innovative form of the symmetric and autofocusing beam in theory and experiment. These symmetric Olver beams (SOBs) originate from the spectral symmetry phase of the Olver beams.
