Path tracking of Automated Guided Vehicle
2014 Seventh International Conference on Contemporary Computing (IC3), 2014In this paper, a systematic method for kinematics and dynamic tricycle modelling of AGV is presented to track the desired trajectory. The localization of AGV is done by a laser sensor NAV200 which is used to detect the AGV position in dour environment in real time. The AGV consists of 2 passive wheels at rear and 1 driving wheel at front.

Decentralized coordination of automated guided vehicles
International Joint Conference on Autonomous Agents and Multiagent Systems, 2008This paper approaches the issue of coordination of highly autonomous Automated Guided Vehicles (AGVs) working on an automated factory. These vehicles are used for goods delivery tasks between different points of the production system. The coordination is based on a decentralized architecture where each vehicle broadcasts the information about its state

Dynamic positioning of idle automated guided vehicles
Journal of Intelligent Manufacturing, 2000An automated guided vehicle (AGV) is a mobile robot commonly used to carry loads in material handling systems (MHS). Once a transfer is completed, an AGV stops at a home position, a point where it can park until it is assigned a new task. Determining the home positions is an important control problem with a direct influence on the overall performance ...

Tracking Control of Automated Guided Vehicles
2007The study of automated guided vehicle behavior when moving on a plane occupies practically a central place in the automobile theory. While an automated vehicle travels at a relatively low speed, controlling it with only a kinematics model may work.
