Automatic 2D hydrophobic cluster alignment

International Journal of Biomedical Engineering and Technology, 2010
Biological databases in the past decade have tremendously grown in size. However, effective retrieval data is still a great challenge. In particular, we need a high-quality tool to measure similarity among protein sequences within the database instead of 1D alignment software.

Automatic cluster assignment for documents

[1991] Proceedings. The Seventh IEEE Conference on Artificial Intelligence Application, 2002
A knowledge-based approach to classification is reported. The proposed methodology uses personal construct theory for interviewing a domain expert to elicit classification knowledge. This interview results in raw data which, on analysis, yields the relationship between different concepts from a user perspective.

Clustering algorithms with automatic selection of cluster number

2008 IEEE International Conference on Granular Computing, 2008
In this talk, we study some clustering algorithms with automatic selection of cluster number. Our idea is to introduce a penalty term to the objective function (i) to make the clustering process not sensitive to the initial cluster centers and (ii) to discover cluster structure in a data set.

Automatic Speech Recognition Texts Clustering

2014
Abstract. This paper deals with the clustering task for Russian texts obtained using automatic speech recognition (ASR). The input for processing are recognition result for phone call recordings and manual text transcripts for these calls. We present a comparative analysis of clustering results for recognition texts and manual text transcripts, make an

Automatic Clustering of User Communities

2019
A semantic community is a set of individuals who are interested in the contents that refer to a specific domain, around which they aggregate to perform social activities such as sharing, commenting, possibly editing, those contents. Every producer of contents that is interested in interacting on social networks and in general on digital news ...
