Automatic Differentiation for Tensor Algebras
Kjolstad et. al. proposed a tensor algebra compiler. It takes expressions that define a tensor element-wise, such as $f_{ij}(a,b,c,d) = \exp\left[-\sum_{k=0}^4 \left((a_{ik}+b_{jk})^2\, c_{ii} + d_{i+k}^3 \right) \right]$, and generates the corresponding compute kernel code.

ABSTRACT Objective Stereoelectroencephalography‐guided radiofrequency thermocoagulation (SEEG‐RFTC) has emerged as a safe and effective minimally invasive treatment for children with drug‐resistant focal epilepsy. Although evidence from real‐world studies remains limited, numerous pediatric cases have demonstrated promising outcomes. This retrospective

Memory and Resting‐State Connectivity in Acute Transient Global Amnesia: A Case–Control fMRI Study
ABSTRACT Background and Objectives Transient global amnesia (TGA) is a striking model of isolated amnesia. While hippocampal lesions are well described, the network‐level mechanisms and the precise neuropsychological profile remain debated. Our objective was thus to characterize functional and neuropsychological correlates of acute TGA and their ...

An Analysis of Vectorised Automatic Differentiation for Statistical Applications
Automatic differentiation (AD) is a general method for computing exact derivatives in complex sensitivity analyses and optimisation tasks, particularly when closed-form solutions are unavailable and traditional analytical or numerical methods fall short.

Association Between Motor Pathway Damage and Motor Deficit in Upper and Lower Limb in People With MS
ABSTRACT Objective Corticospinal tract damage is common in people with MS, but the degree of clinical symptoms varies. We hypothesize that corticospinal tract lesions are more extensive and severe in people with MS with motor impairments in both upper and lower limbs.

ABSTRACT Objective We aim to comprehensively analyze how regional tumor and edema characteristics are associated with clinical presentations and survival outcomes in a large cohort of glioblastoma patients. Methods Patients with IDH‐wildtype glioblastoma who received brain MRI from 2010 to 2023 were included.

MATSE—multi-fidelity augmented time-series emulation: galvanic corrosion applications
Complex physio-chemical phenomena can be investigated using high-fidelity physics-based finite element (FE) models. These models provide accurate predictions of the response of interest, as well as insights into its evolution over time.

ABSTRACT Objective To characterize the demographic, clinical, and laboratory features of the Chinese patients of genetic Creutzfeldt‐Jakob disease with T188K variant (T188K‐gCJD), the most common subtype of genetic prion diseases (gPrDs) in China. Methods In this nationwide retrospective study, data from 98 genetically confirmed T188K‐gCJD patients ...
