Automatic labeling of phrase accents in German

3rd International Conference on Spoken Language Processing (ICSLP 1994), 1994
In this paper a method for the automatic labeling of phrase accents is described, based on a large text corpus that has been generated automatically and read by 100 speakers. Perception experiments on a subset of 500 utterances show a high agreement between the automatically generated accent labels and the judgment scores obtained.

Automatic region labeling of the layered map

1996
In this paper, we describe an automatic region labeling method, which identifies each region and recognizes region names. Before tracing the region boundaries, it extracts the region names which consist of characters, dots, dashes, and indication lines. It uses two recognition methods to recognize characters in the region name.

Hybrid Method for Automatic Music Labeling

2018 XLIV Latin American Computer Conference (CLEI), 2018
Automatic music labeling on large-scale bases is a premise to provide systems of music recommendation, importante subject in digital world, demanding countless research in music information retrieval field. Although there are large-scale musical bases, such as Million Song Dataset (MSD), that have lowlevel label signal audio, descendant from audio ...

Automatic Fusion of Segmentation and Tracking Labels

2019
Labeled training images of high quality are required for developing well-working analysis pipelines. This is, of course, also true for biological image data, where such labels are usually hard to get. We distinguish human labels (gold corpora) and labels generated by computer algorithms (silver corpora). A naturally arising problem is to merge multiple

Automatic prosody labeling of read norwegian

Interspeech 2004, 2004
In this paper we present initial work on a method for automatic stress and boundary labelling of read EastNorwegian. The context of this work is automatic corpus annotation for unit selection speech synthesis. A phonological model of Norwegian prosody is described. The identification of syllable stress and major intonational boundaries are key prosodic

Automatic Semantic Role Labeling for Chinese

2010 IEEE/WIC/ACM International Conference on Web Intelligence and Intelligent Agent Technology, 2010
In this paper I propose a new method for labeling Chinese with semantic roles neither using syntactic parsing nor Part Of Speech tagging technologies. The whole task was divided into two subtasks, clustering and labeling. Clustering is aimed at partially replacing syntactic parsing, during which similar sentences are clustered together. In the labeling

Automatic labelling of foreign-accented speech

2008 42nd Asilomar Conference on Signals, Systems and Computers, 2008
This paper describes the automatic labelling of a Spanish-accented corpus of Mexican students of English as a second language. Some preprocessing is done prior to perform forced alignment with a hidden Markov models-based speech recognizer trained with the TIMIT database.
