Finite automaton is a well known and utilized computational model. Automatic sequences’ definition is bootstraped using the notion of finite automaton. More specifically for the definition we use DFA (Deterministic Finite Automaton) with an output function τ and call it DFAO (Deterministic Finite Automaton with Output).

Automatic sequences as good weights for ergodic theorems
International audienceWe study correlation estimates of automatic sequences (that is, sequences computable by finite automata) with polynomial phases. As a consequence, we provide a new class of good weights for classical and polynomial ergodic theorems.

Objective Despite well‐described biologic causes, the public views unhealthy lifestyle choices as the primary cause of gout. This study investigated how causal beliefs about gout influence the public's views about its management. Methods In a randomized study, 201 members of the public viewed one of two 2‐minute videos about gout.

Segmentation of Pathology in Tumor-Diseased Brains
Automatic segmentation of multiple sclerosis lesions in magnetic resonance images remains a challenging task. In this study, we present a fully automatic method to extract lesions from multi-sequence MRI (T1, T2, T2 FLAIR, Proton Density) within an ...

This study presents a reversible temperature sensor with high switching ratio, ∼103. The device is fabricated using PET‐ITO and carbon nanotube dispersions in alkane. Considering its application in cold chain logistics, a proof‐of‐concept with LED is showcased. Thus, a temperature drop below the threshold temperature (crystallization temperature of the

This study demonstrates an efficient recycling route for out‐of‐spec AlSi10Mg atomized powders through compaction and arc remelting followed by suction casting. By correlating compaction load, cooling rate, and resulting microstructure, we show that intermediate pressures (50–80 kN) and rapid cooling refine dendrites, reduce porosity, and enhance ...

A unified research data management framework for heterogeneous materials data is presented. The system integrates multimodal datasets using ontologies and knowledge graphs, enabling interoperability and FAIR (findable, accessible, interoperable, reusable) data principles. By linking data across scales and workflows, it supports reproducible, Artifitial

A Knowledge‐Based Approach for Understanding and Managing Additive Manufacturing Data
Additive manufacturing processes generate a large amount of data. Effectively managing, understanding, and retrieving information from this data remains a major challenge. Therefore, we propose an ontology‐based approach to integrate heterogeneous data, enable semantic queries, and support decision‐making.

Finding automatic sequences with few correlations
Although automatic sequences are algorithmically very simple, some of them have pseudorandom properties. In particular, some automatic sequences such as the Golay–Shapiro sequence are known to be 2-uncorrelated, meaning that they have the same ...
