A Comparative Study of Agarose and Sodium Alginate‐Based Gel Polymer Electrolytes for Zn‐Based Batteries With CaV6O16·3H2O Cathode

Biopolymer‐derived gel polymer electrolytes effectively mitigate dendrite growth and improve Zn plating/stripping stability in aqueous Zn‐based batteries. Particularly, an agarose‐based system delivers high ionic conductivity and long cycle life, enabling sustainable, high‐performance energy storage for next‐generation Zn‐based batteries.
