Metamaterial and auxetic hybrid composite antennas
IWAT 2005. IEEE International Workshop on Antenna Technology: Small Antennas and Novel Metamaterials, 2005., 2005A new class of artificial material has been conceived to construct antennas. The material system comprises of metamaterial (metal+dielectric) and auxetic (expanding) material. This new breed of composite may be fabricated in the form of hybrid laminates having interply and intraply configurations.
