Intraoperative Collection of Ascitic Fluid With Intra‐ or Postoperative Reinfusion in Ovarian Cancer: Safety and Feasibility of a Roller Pumping Method

open access: yesTherapeutic Apheresis and Dialysis, EarlyView.
ABSTRACT Introduction Patients with ovarian cancer often present with massive ascites, leading to significant protein loss during surgical procedures. Although cell‐free concentrated ascites reinfusion therapy (CART) is used in palliative settings to mitigate protein loss, its application in intraoperative settings remains unexplored.

Auxiliary field method and analytical solutions of the Schr\"{o}dinger equation with exponential potentials

open access: yes, 2008
The auxiliary field method is a new and efficient way to compute approximate analytical eigenenergies and eigenvectors of the Schr\"{o}dinger equation. This method has already been successfully applied to the case of central potentials of power-law and ...

Extended Auxiliary Equation Method and Its Applications to Three Generalized NLS Equations [PDF]

open access: yesAbstract and Applied Analysis, 2014
The auxiliary equation method proposed by Sirendaoreji is extended to construct new types of elliptic function solutions of nonlinear evolution equations. The effectiveness of the extended method is demonstrated by applications to the RKL model, the generalized derivative NLS equation and the Kundu-Eckhaus equation.

Dispersive long wave of nonlinear fractional Wu-Zhang system via a modified auxiliary equation method

open access: yesAIP Advances, 2019
In this paper, we examine a modified auxiliary equation method. We applied this novel method on Wu-Zhang system. This model used to describe (1 + 1)-dimensional dispersive long wave in two horizontal directions on shallow waters. This model is one of the

By dawn or dusk—how circadian timing rewrites bacterial infection outcomes

open access: yesFEBS Letters, EarlyView.
The circadian clock shapes immune function, yet its influence on infection outcomes is only beginning to be understood. This review highlights how circadian timing alters host responses to the bacterial pathogens Salmonella enterica, Listeria monocytogenes, and Streptococcus pneumoniae revealing that the effectiveness of immune defense depends not only

Structural insights into lacto‐N‐biose I recognition by a family 32 carbohydrate‐binding module from Bifidobacterium bifidum

open access: yesFEBS Letters, EarlyView.
Bifidobacterium bifidum establishes symbiosis with infants by metabolizing lacto‐N‐biose I (LNB) from human milk oligosaccharides (HMOs). The extracellular multidomain enzyme LnbB drives this process, releasing LNB via its catalytic glycoside hydrolase family 20 (GH20) lacto‐N‐biosidase domain.

Nonlinear Complex Wave Excitations in (2+1)-Dimensional Klein–Gordon Equation Investigated by New Wave Transformation

open access: yesMathematics
The Klein–Gordon equation plays an important role in mathematical physics, such as plasma and, condensed matter physics. Exploring its exact solution helps us understand its complex nonlinear wave phenomena. In this paper, we first propose a new extended

New Wave Solutions for Nonlinear Differential Equations using an Extended Bernoulli Equation as a New Expansion Method

open access: yesITM Web of Conferences, 2018
In this paper, we presented a new expansion method constructed by taking inspiration for the Kudryashov method. Bernoulli equation is chosen in the form of F′=BFn-AF and some expansions are made on the auxiliary Bernoulli equation which is used in this ...

An upper bound for asymmetrical spinless Salpeter equations

open access: yes, 2012
Using the auxiliary field method, a generic upper bound is obtained for the spinless Salpeter equation with two different masses. Analytical results are presented for the cases of the Coulomb and linear potentials when a mass is vanishing.Comment ...

The role and implications of mammalian cellular circadian entrainment

open access: yesFEBS Letters, EarlyView.
At their most fundamental level, mammalian circadian rhythms occur inside every individual cell. To tell the correct time, cells must align (or ‘entrain’) their circadian rhythm to the external environment. In this review, we highlight how cells entrain to the major circadian cues of light, feeding and temperature, and the implications this has for our
