The analytic solutions of Schrödinger equation with Cubic-Quintic nonlinearities

open access: yesResults in Physics, 2018
This paper deals with the nonlinear Schrödinger equation with Cubic-Quintic nonlinearities. After transforming the non-autonomous nonlinear Schrödinger equation into a stationary equation by adopting the BPVK idea, we give the classification of the ...

Diverse analytical wave solutions of plasma physics and water wave equations

open access: yesResults in Physics, 2022
In plasma physics and water waves, the Gilson-Pickering equation is an important unidirectional wave propagation model. A large number of analytic wave solutions have been established in the form of hyperbolic, trigonometric, exponential, and rational ...

Extended Auxiliary Equation Method to the perturbed Gerdjikov-Ivanov Equation

open access: yes, 2018
We apply utilized the extended form of the auxiliary equation method to obtain extensively reliable exact travelling wave solutions of perturbed Gerdjikov–Ivanov equation (GIE) that is widely used as a model in the field theory of quanta and non-linear optics. The method is based on a simple first order second degree ODE.

Intraoperative Collection of Ascitic Fluid With Intra‐ or Postoperative Reinfusion in Ovarian Cancer: Safety and Feasibility of a Roller Pumping Method

open access: yesTherapeutic Apheresis and Dialysis, EarlyView.
ABSTRACT Introduction Patients with ovarian cancer often present with massive ascites, leading to significant protein loss during surgical procedures. Although cell‐free concentrated ascites reinfusion therapy (CART) is used in palliative settings to mitigate protein loss, its application in intraoperative settings remains unexplored.

Functional integral derivation of the kinetic equation of two-dimensional point vortices

open access: yes, 2016
We present a brief derivation of the kinetic equation describing the secular evolution of point vortices in two-dimensional hydrodynamics, by relying on a functional integral formalism.

Structural insights into lacto‐N‐biose I recognition by a family 32 carbohydrate‐binding module from Bifidobacterium bifidum

open access: yesFEBS Letters, EarlyView.
Bifidobacterium bifidum establishes symbiosis with infants by metabolizing lacto‐N‐biose I (LNB) from human milk oligosaccharides (HMOs). The extracellular multidomain enzyme LnbB drives this process, releasing LNB via its catalytic glycoside hydrolase family 20 (GH20) lacto‐N‐biosidase domain.

The inverse scattering problem at fixed energy based on the Marchenko equation for an auxiliary Sturm-Liouville operator

open access: yes, 2012
A new approach is proposed to the solution of the quantum mechanical inverse scattering problem at fixed energy. The method relates the fixed energy phase shifts to those arising in an auxiliary Sturm-Liouville problem via the interpolation theory of the
