Nicotinamide N‐methyltransferase promotes drug resistance in lung cancer, as revealed by nascent proteomic profiling

open access: yesMolecular Oncology, EarlyView.
AZD9291 has shown promise in targeted cancer therapy but is limited by resistance. In this study, we employed metabolic labeling and LC–MS/MS to profile time‐resolved nascent protein perturbations, allowing dynamic tracking of drug‐responsive proteins. We demonstrated that increased NNMT expression is associated with drug resistance, highlighting NNMT ...

Full-wave parallel dispersive finite-difference time-domain modeling of three-dimensional electromagnetic cloaking structures

open access: yes, 2009
A parallel dispersive finite-difference time-domain (FDTD) method for the modeling of three-dimensional (3-D) electromagnetic cloaking structures is presented in this paper.

Adenosine‐to‐inosine editing of miR‐200b‐3p is associated with the progression of high‐grade serous ovarian cancer

open access: yesMolecular Oncology, EarlyView.
A‐to‐I editing of miRNAs, particularly miR‐200b‐3p, contributes to HGSOC progression by enhancing cancer cell proliferation, migration and 3D growth. The edited form is linked to poorer patient survival and the identification of novel molecular targets.

The modified homotopy perturbation method with an auxiliary term for the nonlinear oscillator with discontinuity

open access: yesJournal of Low Frequency Noise, Vibration and Active Control, 2019
Recently, a modified homotopy perturbation method with an auxiliary term was proposed for obtaining an analytical approximate solution of a nonlinear equation.

Inhibition of CDK9 enhances AML cell death induced by combined venetoclax and azacitidine

open access: yesMolecular Oncology, EarlyView.
The CDK9 inhibitor AZD4573 downregulates c‐MYC and MCL‐1 to induce death of cytarabine (AraC)‐resistant AML cells. This enhances VEN + AZA‐induced cell death significantly more than any combination of two of the three drugs in AraC‐resistant AML cells.

Symmetry Reduced and New Exact Nontraveling Wave Solutions of (2+1)-Dimensional Potential Boiti-Leon-Manna-Pempinelli Equation

open access: yesAbstract and Applied Analysis, 2013
With the aid of Maple symbolic computation and Lie group method, (2+1)-dimensional PBLMP equation is reduced to some (1+1)-dimensional PDE with constant coefficients. Using the homoclinic test technique and auxiliary equation methods, we obtain new exact

Ion acoustic solitary wave solutions of three-dimensional nonlinear extended Zakharov–Kuznetsov dynamical equation in a magnetized two-ion-temperature dusty plasma

open access: yesResults in Physics, 2016
We consider the propagation of three-dimensional nonlinear magnetized two-ion-temperature dusty plasma. The problem formulation of this mathematical model leads to nonlinear extended Zakharov–Kuznetsov (EZK) dynamical equation in three-dimensional by ...

A synthetic benzoxazine dimer derivative targets c‐Myc to inhibit colorectal cancer progression

open access: yesMolecular Oncology, EarlyView.
Benzoxazine dimer derivatives bind to the bHLH‐LZ region of c‐Myc, disrupting c‐Myc/MAX complexes, which are evaluated from SAR analysis. This increases ubiquitination and reduces cellular c‐Myc. Impairing DNA repair mechanisms is shown through proteomic analysis.

Soliton dynamics of the KdV–mKdV equation using three distinct exact methods in nonlinear phenomena

open access: yesNonlinear Engineering
The KdV–mKdV equation is investigated in this study. This equation is a useful tool to model many nonlinear phenomena in the fields of fluid dynamics, quantum mechanics, and soliton wave theory.
