Estimation of a Distribution function under Sampling on Two Occasions
Estimation of the distribution function under sampling on two occasions with a simple random sampling design on each occasion is investigated. Composite regression and ratio type estimators are considered, using values of the study variable as auxiliary ...

We have established a humanized orthotopic patient‐derived xenograft (Hu‐oPDX) mouse model of high‐grade serous ovarian cancer (HGSOC) that recapitulates human tumor–immune interactions. Using combined anti‐PD‐L1/anti‐CD73 immunotherapy, we demonstrate the model's improved biological relevance and enhanced translational value for preclinical ...

Categorical data fusion using auxiliary information
In data fusion analysts seek to combine information from two databases comprised of disjoint sets of individuals, in which some variables appear in both databases and other variables appear in only one database. Most data fusion techniques rely on variants of conditional independence assumptions.

Pancreatic sensory neurons innervating healthy and PDAC tissue were retrogradely labeled and profiled by single‐cell RNA sequencing. Tumor‐associated innervation showed a dominant neurofilament‐positive subtype, altered mitochondrial gene signatures, and reduced non‐peptidergic neurons.

In the present work, we have identified a transcriptional signature based on the differential expression of six genes (BCL2&MAST4, HSH2D&LAT2, METRN&PITPNM2) that would facilitate the early detection of T‐cell acute lymphoblastic leukemia (T‐ALL) patients prone to a poor treatment response and could be implemented at diagnosis, along with other risk ...

Efficient Transfer Bayesian Optimization with Auxiliary Information
We propose an efficient transfer Bayesian optimization method, which finds the maximum of an expensive-to-evaluate black-box function by using data on related optimization tasks. Our method uses auxiliary information that represents the task characteristics to effectively transfer knowledge for estimating a distribution over target functions.

A Refined Regression Estimator for General Inverse Adaptive Cluster Sampling
Adaptive cluster sampling (ACS) is a sampling technique commonly used for rare populations that exhibit spatial clustering. However, the initially selected sample units may not always satisfy the specified inclusion condition.

CCDC80 suppresses high‐grade serous ovarian cancer migration via negative regulation of B7‐H3
PAX8 is a lineage‐specific master regulator of transcription in high‐grade serous ovarian cancer (HGSC) progression. We show for the first time that PAX8 facilitates proliferation and metastasis by repressing the cell autonomous tumor suppressor CCDC80 and inducing B7‐H3 expression.
