Dual Transformation of Auxiliary Variables by Using Outliers in Stratified Random Sampling
To estimate the finite population variance of the study variable, this paper proposes an improved class of efficient estimators using different transformations. When both the minimum and maximum values of the auxiliary variable are known and the ranks of

Predictive Estimation of Finite Population Mean Using Exponential Estimators [PDF]
This paper suggested the ratio-type and product-type exponential estimators of the population mean of a study variable through predictive approach using Bahl and Tuteja (1991) ratio-type and product-type exponential estimators as a predictor of the mean

Tau acetylation at K331 has limited impact on tau pathology in vivo
We mapped tau post‐translational modifications in humanized MAPT knock‐in mice and in amyloid‐bearing double knock‐in mice. Acetylation within the repeat domain, particularly around K331, showed modest increases under amyloid pathology. To test functional relevance, we generated MAPTK331Q knock‐in mice.

Automatic Image Annotation Based on Multi-Auxiliary Information
This paper introduces an automatic image annotation framework based on multi-auxiliary information which aims at improving the annotation performance. We propose three novel ideas in the framework of annotation: 1) multi-information extraction: besides ...

This study reveals a unique active site enriched in methionine residues and demonstrates that these residues play a critical role by stabilizing carbocation intermediates through novel sulfur–cation interactions. Structure‐guided mutagenesis further revealed variants with significantly altered product profiles, enhancing pseudopterosin formation. These

Raking-ratio empirical process with auxiliary information learning
The raking-ratio method is a statistical and computational method which adjusts the empirical measure to match the true probability of sets of a finite partition.

Aggressive prostate cancer is associated with pericyte dysfunction
Tumor‐produced TGF‐β drives pericyte dysfunction in prostate cancer. This dysfunction is characterized by downregulation of some canonical pericyte markers (i.e., DES, CSPG4, and ACTA2) while maintaining the expression of others (i.e., PDGFRB, NOTCH3, and RGS5).

Improved methods for estimation in repeated surveys: Combining time series and calibration
The paper investigates new estimation techniques for repeated surveys, focusing on improving the precision of finite population parameter estimates at the current time t by incorporating auxiliary time series and calibration methods.

Optimization of Information Rate Upper and Lower Bounds for Channels with Memory
We consider the problem of minimizing upper bounds and maximizing lower bounds on information rates of stationary and ergodic discrete-time channels with memory.
