A Cre‐dependent lentiviral vector for neuron subtype‐specific expression of large proteins
We designed a versatile and modular lentivector comprising a Cre‐dependent switch and self‐cleaving 2A peptide and tested it for co‐expression of GFP and a 2.8 kb gene of interest (GOI) in mouse cortical parvalbumin (PV+) interneurons and midbrain dopamine (TH+) neurons.

Palatini's cousin: A New Variational Principle
A variational principle is suggested within Riemannnian geometry, in which an auxiliary metric and the Levi Civita connection are varied independently.

Some Improved Estimators in Double Sampling Using two Auxiliary Variables
Dash and Mishra [1] suggested an improved class of estimators without defining the optimum estimator. However, they gave the wrong Taylor’s series expression of their class of estimator and their minimum mean squared error expressions are also incorrect.

Updating Latent Class Imputations with External Auxiliary Variables [PDF]
Latent class models are often used to assign values to categorical variables that cannot be measured directly. This "imputed" latent variable is then used in further analyses with auxiliary variables. The relationship between the imputed latent variable and auxiliary variables can only be correctly estimated if these auxiliary variables are included in

By dawn or dusk—how circadian timing rewrites bacterial infection outcomes
The circadian clock shapes immune function, yet its influence on infection outcomes is only beginning to be understood. This review highlights how circadian timing alters host responses to the bacterial pathogens Salmonella enterica, Listeria monocytogenes, and Streptococcus pneumoniae revealing that the effectiveness of immune defense depends not only

Given a particular solution of a one-dimensional stationary Schroedinger equation (SE) this equation of second order can be reduced to a first order linear differential equation. This is done with the aid of an auxiliary Riccati equation.

The issue of survey nonresponse causes substantial effects on the reliability, together with validity of study findings. This research develops precise estimation methods for two distinct nonresponse situations: when nonresponse happens to primary survey

Auxiliary variables and recursive procedures [PDF]
Much research in axiomatic semantics suffers from a lack of formality. In particular, most proposed verification calculi for imperative programs dealing with recursive procedures are known to be unsound or incomplete. Focussing on total correctness, we present a new consequence rule which yields a sound and complete Hoare-style calculus in the presence
