Az avar kori fibulak ket nagy csoportba sorolhatok. A hasznalaton kivuli csoportot a vaskori, romai kori es szarmata eredetű fibulak alkotjak, a hasznalatban volt fibulak csoportjaba pedig a bizanci tipusu fibulak, a korongos fibulak, allat alaku fibulak es a kengyelfibulak tartoznak.

Állatcsontok Hajdúnánás avar temetőjéből

A hajdúnánási temető 10 sírjában találtak állatcsontokat, egy sírban pedig teljes lócsontváz feküdt (1. táblázat). A csontok rendkívül rossz állapota alapján feltételezhető, hogy a temető többi sírjába eltemetettek mellé is tettek húsmellékletet.
