Állatcsontok Hajdúnánás avar temetőjéből
Communicationes Archaeologicae Hungariae, 2009A hajdúnánási temető 10 sírjában találtak állatcsontokat, egy sírban pedig teljes lócsontváz feküdt (1. táblázat). A csontok rendkívül rossz állapota alapján feltételezhető, hogy a temető többi sírjába eltemetettek mellé is tettek húsmellékletet.
