Oat (Avena sativa L.) is hardy crop cereal which is mainly produced for grain. Oat has high nutrritional value and good digestibility and for that reason she is used mostly for feeding domestic animals, and less like human food. Except using grain for nutrition, oat can be also used like straw which has higher nutrition values than other cereals.
