Average Bit Error Probability of Receive-Spatial Modulation using zero-forcing precoding
2014 IEEE 19th International Workshop on Computer Aided Modeling and Design of Communication Links and Networks (CAMAD), 2014In this paper, we study the Average Bit Error Probability (ABEP) of Receive-Spatial Modulation (R-SM) in Rayleigh channels. R-SM is a multi-antenna wireless scheme that extends the concept of Spatial Modulation (SM) at the receiver side by using linear precoding. An accurate statistical framework is used for the characterization of the received signal.

We derive the performance of the optimum noncoherent frequency-shift keying diversity combining receiver and compare it with that which implements the more traditional noncoherent postdetection equal gain combining scheme to reveal the degree of suboptimality of the latter.

Average Bit Error Probability Based on Moment Generating Function in the Beaulieu-Xie Fading Channel
2024 International Symposium ELMARThis paper presents an analysis of the average bit error probability (ABEP) based on the moment generating function (MGF) over the Beaulieu-Xie fading channel by introducing the influence of the co-channel interference (CCI).

Analytical performance bounds are presented for trellis coded phase-shift keying (PSK) transmitted over general fading channels. In particular, log-normal shadowing of the received signal over a mobile satellite channel is considered, and analytical performance bounds for encoder structures with four and eight states are provided.

An exact closed-form expression is derived for the average bit-error probability (BEP) of binary phase-shift keying signals with multiple-antenna reception. We consider maximal ratio combining technique in the presence of multiple cochannel interferers with identical or different powers and additive white Gaussian noise.

The IEEE 802.15.3a standards body has developed a modification of the Saleh-Valenzuela multipath channel model as the accepted model for ultra-wideband channel investigations. Although it is straightforward to simulate channel realizations according to the model, doing so many thousands of times in order to estimate bit-error probabilities is ...

In this Letter we investigate the error performance of multiple-input multiple-output free-space optical communication systems employing intensity modulation/direct detection and operating over strong atmospheric turbulence channels. Atmospheric-induced strong turbulence fading is modeled using the negative exponential distribution.

On the Average Capacity and Bit Error Probability of Wireless Communication Systems
2011 IEEE Global Telecommunications Conference - GLOBECOM 2011, 2011Analysis of the average binary error probabilities and average capacity of wireless communications systems over generalized fading channels have been considered separately in the past. This paper introduces a novel moment generating function-based unified expression for both average binary error probabilities and average capacity of single and multiple
