An Experimental Study Towards Decreasing the Energy Efficiency Index Value in Industrial Refrigerators

open access: yesGazi Üniversitesi Fen Bilimleri Dergisi, 2021
Energy labeling is performed according to the energy efficiency index (EEI) value in industrial coolers. In order to reduce the EEI value calculated according to the amount of energy consumed and the characteristics of the cooler.

Gross Calorific Value of Combustible Solid Waste in a Mass Burn Incineration Plant, Benin City, Nigeria

open access: yesJournal of Applied Sciences and Environmental Management, 2018
Some solid waste incinerators burn waste that does not possess enough calorific value that justifies the installation of an energy recovery facility, this implies that a substantial amount of energy would be provided by an auxiliary burner.

Generalization for the Average Value of the Difference Between the Energies of Two Graphs

open access: yesGazi University Journal of Science, 2020
Let G denote the set of all simple graphs with n vertices and m edges. In this paper, for a given type of graph Hermite matrix A, we determine the average values of the difference between A-energies of two graphs randomly chosen from G . These results yield criterions for deciding when two graphs are almost A-equienergetic.

Some Considerations on Electronic Energy of Itinerant-electron Metamagnetic Materials with Volume-dependent Exchange Energy

open access: yesActive and Passive Electronic Components, 2001
Electronic energy of itinerant-electron metamagnetic materials is examined by taking into consideration volume-dependent exchange energy between up and down spin electrons.

Global Energy-Efficiency Metric for Coordinated Cognitive Radio Networks

open access: yesIEEE Access, 2016
Energy-efficiency is a significant parameter contributing to the performance of coordinated cognitive radio networks (CCRNs). To estimate the average value of sensing and reporting energy efficiency of CCRN, a new metric is proposed.

Average value of the cosmic ray injection exponent at Galactic sources

open access: yesEPJ Web of Conferences, 2017
The energy spectrum of high energy cosmic rays emitted by sources change during propagation in the Galaxy. Using the spectrum observed at the Earth and two different transport models, based on anomalous and normal diffusion equations, we have retrieved ...

Ecosystem-service tradeoffs associated with switching from annual to perennial energy crops in riparian zones of the US Midwest. [PDF]

open access: yesPLoS ONE, 2013
Integration of energy crops into agricultural landscapes could promote sustainability if they are placed in ways that foster multiple ecosystem services and mitigate ecosystem disservices from existing crops.
