Water adsorption capacity is a key factor to influence the photocatalytic H2 evolution activity of polymeric g-C3 N4 . Herein, we report the synthesis of 3D ordered close-packed g-C3 N4 nanosphere arrays (CNAs) that significantly enhance the water ...

AbstractImproved methods for measuring weight‐ and number‐average molecular weight of polymers soluble only at elevated temperatures are applied to selcted samples of polyethylene. For two samples of essentially linear polyethylene, number‐average molecular weights by cryoscopy are 11,500 and 13,000, and weight‐average molecular weights by light ...

The primary objective of this study was to determine the minimum number of individual fecal samples to pool together in order to obtain a representative sample for herd level quantification of antimicrobial resistance (AMR) genes in a Danish pig herd, using a novel high-throughput qPCR assay.

Estimating the Number of Fish Landed from Their Total Weight c and a Sample Average Weight
Canadian Journal of Fisheries and Aquatic Sciences, 1994Assessing the status of a commercially exploited fish stock usually involves fitting a model for the stock's dynamics to observations of the number of fish landed. Typically, the number of fish landed is estimated from the ratio of the total landed weight, which is known exactly, over the sample average weight of a fish. This paper examines how errors

Moments of the decisive sample number and of the average time to termination of sequential tests
Communications in Statistics - Theory and Methods, 1976The moments of the decisive sample number and of the average time to termination of sequential tests are derived. All moments depend only on the probability of continuation of the sequential test at each step, or at each instant of time for time processes. Two theorems are proved.

In this article we present the results of measurement of νeff in Fermi spectra with lower bounds of 0.15 ev (gadolinium filter) and 0.4 ev (cadmium filter) for samples of Pu239 with various concentrations of impurities of the isotope Pu240 (0% 1.6%, 2.5%, 6.5%, 16%) and the effective resonance absorption integral of Pu240.

An optimal design of a skip lot sampling plan of type V by minimizing average sample number
2012In this paper, we propose a designing methodology to find the optimal parameters of skip-lot sampling plan of type V (SkSP-V) in terms of reducing the average sample number. The two-points on the operating characteristic curve approach is used to find the design parameters of the proposed plan and the reference plan as well.
