Thermal Degradation Kinetics and Flame‐Retardant Synergy in Zinc Borate/Red Phosphorus‐Filled Thermoplastic Polyurethane Composites

The synergistic interaction between red phosphorus (RP) and zinc borate (ZnB) enhances the thermal stability and flame retardancy of TPU by forming a dense, stable protective char layer. Non‐isothermal kinetic analysis confirms a complex degradation mechanism governed by conversion‐dependent activation energy.

Noise characteristics of the AVHRR infrared channels

Abstract Limitations on the precision of digitized data are identified and discussed. Apart from calibration errors, these sources of uncertainty can be divided into three types of noise; digitization, Gaussian and periodic, each of which behaves differently when data is averaged.
