Lightning electromagnetic emission location using arrival time differencing (LEELA): An introduction to the Met Office's next generation Very Low Frequency lightning location system

This paper describes the Met Office's new lightning location system LEELA. A brief overview of the upgraded hardware and geolocation algorithms is given. LEELA has improved lightning detection capabilities, especially at night. Impacts of Introducing Automation in Mining Operations: Insights From Worker Perceptions

This study shows that trust is the strongest predictor of mining workers' situation awareness when using automated systems. Communication and coordination also improve situation awareness through trust, highlighting the need for human‐centered system design and training that support calibrated trust and effective teamwork in safety‐critical operations.
